How to enrol

To enrol yourself or your employees in one of our infection control courses, contact our Education and Training Unit by emailing infect.control@ywca-canberra.org.au or calling 02 6185 2000. They will be able to advise whether you can complete this course through Skilled Capital, Infection Control Training. This is an ACT government training initiative funded by the Federal and ACT governments through the project agreement for the National Infection Control Training fun. This means you won’t have any out-of-pocket expenses, and help you through the enrolment process.

How we train

This course is undertaken online, with the assessment taking place in your workplace—there is no face-to-face training. It will take approximately four hours to complete.

You will be required to submit quizzes and a video of you undertaking infection control measures in your workplace. This will be marked by our qualified trainers to determine whether you have met the required standards to complete the course.
